Monstrum (2018)
Monstrum is a Korean royal movie that recreates the documentary about a strange beast that threatened the royal palace in 1572 when King Jeong Jeong got married... The king sent his followers to hunt down the beast. The story of being forced to serve is described in the historical record...Film director Heo Jang-ho said, "This movie is about a fictional animal....We created an animal based on our own fantasy...but the difference is that we also took ideas from historical records," he said at a press conference held on August 16...Veteran actor Kim Myung-min played the role of the king's man who believes in removing the king from the throne and the evil animal that threatens him. As for Yoon's right-hand man Seong-han from the search team...Hyeri, a singer from the famous Kpop group Girl-Day, plays Yoon's daughter Myeong, and actor Choi Woo-Sik plays the commander who comes to deliver the king's order... Actor Kim Myung-min said, "The script is interesting and unique...the invisible enemy."
