My Imaginary Country (2022)
This is a documentary film about the 2-year revolution in Chile that started with the protests on the streets in October 2019. Young students were dissatisfied with the increase in train fares, and since the riots, the public, who have been oppressed and exploited for years, took to the streets to protest the country's economic and administrative system. At first, the police faced tear gas with batons and fake bullets, and more than 400 people suffered eye damage and lost their sight. In this way, the speed of the revolution increased and the people defended themselves with shields and stones. The women who had been oppressed by the Faust and women's rights, the housewives also came out on the streets playing pans. After that, when the army came in and took control... how they would continue to protest and what would happen next...
