The Legend And Butterfly (2023)
Director Otomo Keishi is based on the historical events of the Tang Moon period in Japan. To tell you a little bit of history, at that time, Japan was divided into separate kingdoms like Myanmar before Bagan. Oda Nobunaga, the protagonist of the story, was a daimyō (warlord) who was able to unite Japan for the first time. The story begins with the wedding of Lord Oda Nobunaga of Owari Prefecture and Princess Nohime of Mino Prefecture. Although he would become a great Daimyō who conquered the entire country, Nobunaga was so reckless that he was nicknamed Owari's fool in history... On the other hand, Princess No was very intelligent and famous for being the daughter of a viper.
